Building upon a rich tradition of spiritual reflection, Spiritus Et Locus—Latin for Spirit and Place—is a way you can explore and document spirituality in your everyday life.

Spiritus Et Locus is also a digital photography exhibition, proudly held every year as part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival since 2014. It’s also a community of pilgrims on a journey, setting out with smartphones, seeking out Spirit in the everyday.

Spiritus Et Locus is a project of Cafechurch, a welcoming Christian community in Melbourne’s inner-north.
